GreenUP Circular Startups Challenge: Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are specific to the GreenUP Circular Startups Challenge and act as an extension of the General Terms and Conditions of GreenUP. By participating in the program, you agree to both the General terms and the following additional terms:
Please read these Terms and Conditions before applying to participate.

 

I. Program Fees and Equity

The GreenUP Circular Startups Challenge is completely free of charge. No payment or equity is required to participate in the program.
The organisers could offer an investment opportunity to selected startups after the program ends.

 

II. Eligibility

The program is open to individual participants of all ages from Bulgaria, as well as startup teams at a pre-revenue stage.

 

III. Program Format

The program will be conducted primarily online, with live workshops taking place on August 31st and demo day pitching on September 1st in Sofia.

 

IV. Application Process

To apply for the program, you must submit the application form. By submitting the form, you agree to both the general terms and conditions of GreenUP and these specific terms and conditions for the GreenUP Circular Startups Challenge.

 

V. Selection Process

The selection of participants will be based on the answers provided in the application form. The goal of the selection process is to connect people who will be paired well in teams. The selection is determined by the organizers, BGZeroWaste and Vangavis.

 

VI. Attendance Requirements

By applying to the program, you agree to be present for at least 80% of the online sessions and to attend both live events on August 31st and September 1st.

Please note that these terms and conditions are subject to change. The Organizers reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, with or without prior notice. Participants are responsible for regularly reviewing the Terms and Conditions for any changes. Continued participation in the competition after any changes to the Terms and Conditions constitutes acceptance of those changes.

 

VII. Transportation Costs

Approved participants from Northeastern regions of Bulgaria are eligable to receive money to cover transportation costs for attending the live events on August 31st and Sept 1st. The amount and mode of transport will be discussed and approved closer to the date.
